Yama Stovetop Siphon Vacuum Coffee Maker – 8 Cup (~1,200ml)

Description
The Yama Stovetop Siphon Coffee Maker is an elegant way to make delicious coffee for a group of people. Like its tabletop cousin, it uses a combination of vapour-pressure (which pushes the water into the top chamber) and a vacuum (which draws the brewed coffee back down) to make a uniquely clean & clear cup of coffee without any compromise on intensity.
However, unlike the Tabletop Siphon, this version is designed specifically for your stovetop and does not require a separate alcohol or butane burner. In fact, it will work on pretty much any electric or gas stove (just not induction stoves as it isn’t made of metal). This makes it a great coffee maker for home and with its ~1.2L capacity, you can quickly and easily brew a few cups of coffee at a time.
How does it work?
By applying heat to the bottom chamber, the water in it comes to a boil, creating pressure which pushes the hot water into the top at an ideal temperature for brewing. The coffee is then fully immersed in the top chamber, and when you’re ready, removing the heat creates a vacuum which quickly filters the coffee through a cloth. The vacuum pressure and cloth filtration allow you to use a finer grind, while still getting the benefit of full immersion.
