The Wega Max 6.4 Shop Grinder is a modified version of the popular Wega Max 6.4 Espresso Grinder, designed to grind into containers rather than a portafilter, including into retail bags of coffee. It has the same 64mm flat burrs that you’ll find in its espresso-focused cousin, but its chute with clip is designed to grind into packets or other containers.
If you’re looking to pre-grind coffee for your customers (sometimes one must compromise) or grind larger batches of coffee for other purposes, this grinder may be just what you need. Even better, if you’re budget or space constrained, there’s no reason you can’t also use this grinder for your espresso requirements, provided you can manage without the customary espresso grinder portafilter holder.
