Rosetta Roastery – Ethiopia Roba Yirgacheffe – 250g
R145.00
Description
For as long as we’ve worked with them, Rosetta Roastery have always had stunning coffees to offer from Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia. Their roast style really emphasises all the wonderful characteristics that the region is known for. This one from the Roba Washing Station is a delicious, archetypal example.
The quintessential citrus flavours are definitely present in this coffee, but we definitely wouldn’t call it too bright or overly acidic. It’s actually quite sweet, and offers a fair bit of body. The flavours sometimes are more reminiscent of stone fruit than citrus, and it’s also got a wonderful floral aroma.
To appreciate this coffee at its best, we’d highly recommend trying it as a pour-over, with a longer extraction.
Roaster’s notes
Style: ProgressiveFlavour: Earl Grey tea notes, with fresh apricots & citrus
Why do people buy cards? It’s not because they want to say how they feel. People buy cards because they can’t say how they feel, or they’re afraid to. So we devise sweet sentiments. You know, keep it light; add a dash of citric wit, and a juicy one-liner. Tie that in with a bunch of flowers, and you’re all set. Only that didn’t work with Summer.
