The Rancilio MD40 is the highly trusted Italian manufacturer’s entry-level commercial espresso grinder. This is a straightforward, reliable small to medium capacity grinder that will serve any cafe, restaurant or espresso bar very well, for volumes up to 2.5-3.5kg per hour.
It has an adjustable doser, that can issue anywhere from 5g to 10g of ground coffee on one pull of the lever. Its hopper and dosing chamber are made of tinted plastic to avoid UV damage to the coffee beans. With semi-automatic operation, you have full control over how much ground coffee is ground into the dosing chamber at a time.
