The Cafe Press Slim is Hario’s simple, elegant take on one of the most classic of coffee brewing methods – the french press or coffee plunger.
The Cafe Press Slim is minimally designed for excellent coffee brewing results. Its body is one complete piece of hardened borosilicate glass, that is also dishwasher safe, and its internal plunging mechanism combines a stainless steel shaft with a polypropylene lid and cleverly designed filter plate with a flexible silicone seal, which minimises the amount of coffee grounds and sediment that winds up in your cup.
Despite the great seal and filtration, it is very easy to press down when you’re ready to pour your coffee, and the ingenious addition of a tapered base keeps you from pouring any liquid that has mingled with the coffee slurry for too long into your cup. At 240ml effective capacity (the actual capacity is slightly larger), the Hario Slim Cafe Press is perfect for one person filling a standard mug, or for two sharing a small cup of coffee.
