Bean There is known for its pioneering work in direct fair trade African coffee. By partnering with farmers in 6 different coffee-producing countries, they’ve been able to source some incredibly high quality beans for all of us to enjoy, all while improving the quality of life of those who grow the crops.
Historically, Bean There has been focused on single origins, and we’ve always offered their full selection of African beans for our customers to enjoy. We’re excited to be the first to sell two very special blends, made up of the same delicious single origins we’ve all come to know and love!
About Bean There Blend 58
Bean There’s Blend 58 combines their very popular Ethiopia Sidamo, with their rare & quirky DR Congo Virunga. The marriage of these two very different coffees yields a blend that every traditional espresso (or moka pot) lover will thoroughly enjoy. We also found great results in a short Aeropress extraction.
This coffee is bold and full-bodied with a luxurious dark chocolate flavour backbone that will please those classic palates. However this fully developed, chocolatey flavour is enlivened by hints of acidity that may remind you of strawberries or even cherries as well as subtle notes of citrus. It’s the perfect coffee for a short afternoon pick-me-up.
