While coffee was born in Africa, today’s booming industry may owe as much to the coffee farmers of Central & South America as it does to its motherland. Coffee was taken to the Americas by European settlers centuries ago, and it has a long history of formal cultivation in many Latin American countries. In fact, heavyweights like Colombia and Brazil have done much to advance farming and processing practices, and have created some of the biggest and most sophisticated farming operations in the world.
Because of this history, many people look to the Americas for their favourite speciality coffees. We’re lucky to work with roasters that bring in some of the very best, and roast it to its purest expression. This bundle is a selection of some of the top Central & South American coffees on offer at the moment. It includes beans from 3 different coffee-producing countries and 4 different artisan roasters. There is a wonderful variety of flavours, aromas, origins and roast profiles to explore.
Many of these coffees will make a delicious espresso, but we’d encourage you to try them in manual and filter brew methods to appreciate all the nuance of their unique qualities.
